Description

The Ground Beef Grilled Cheese Sandwich combines the savory flavors of seasoned ground beef with the gooey goodness of melted cheese, sandwiched between two slices of crispy grilled bread. This hearty and satisfying meal is perfect for lunch, dinner, or even a quick snack. Its simplicity and versatility make it a favorite for all ages.

Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 2 slices of bread (your choice)
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1/2 pound ground beef
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 2 slices cheddar cheese (or your preferred cheese)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Beef Mixture
Heat a skillet over medium heat and cook the ground beef, breaking it up as it cooks. Once browned, add the diced onion, garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper. Continue to cook until the onions are soft and the mixture is well combined. Set aside.
  2. Assemble the Sandwich
Butter one side of each slice of bread. On the unbuttered side of one slice, place a slice of cheese. Spread the cooked beef mixture evenly on top of the cheese, then layer another slice of cheese. Place the second slice of bread on top, buttered side out.
  3. Grill the Sandwich
Heat a skillet over medium heat and place the sandwich in the skillet. Grill until the bread is golden brown and the cheese has melted, about 4-5 minutes per side. Flip carefully to avoid spilling the filling.
  4. Serve
Remove the sandwich from the skillet, slice it in half, and serve warm.
